THE INSTITUTE FOR STUDY AND DEVELOPMENT OF COOPERATON (ISDC) is a Public Charitable Trust, which aims at benefitting the public at large by providing direct technical assistance for Cooperatives of all kinds and at all stages of development. ISDC is responsible for organizing, directing, monitoring and evaluating the arrangements of Cooperative guidance for the personnel working in the Cooperative sectors in the country.

ISDC tries to shed light on the underdeveloped and weaker sections of the society and bring them to the forefront to provide them with opportunities to grow to their full potential, although its basics are to encourage Study and Research in the field of Cooperation. ISDC also thrives to empower Women and Rural population, to bring them to a world where the diversity of life thrives and they can participate in all activities. ISDC is also aiming at introducing Cooperatives to the Weaker and unreached sections of the society.

ISDC supports expansion of rural livelihood opportunities and boosts rural households’ income and overall socio-economic well-being, by facilitating the evolution of large, successful local Cooperatives into local resource organizations. It also envisages conducting Research in critical areas of Cooperative movement.
